The main themes of the Hebrew Bible (also known as the Old Testament), are certainly aware of God, man, sin, justice, mercy, federal, law, atonement and sanctification. A final theme we will examine is the Messiah. Almost everyone agrees that these are ten most important issues. Let's take a closer look at each one.
God - From his first verse, the Hebrew Bible says the truth about God following important: what is timeless, power is limitless, and to knowledge that is infinite, is one, not two or more, he is not creature creator, and he is both loving and holy.
These features, and many others to define who God is, and are in the heart of the Old Testament revelation of him. He turns first, however, not in abstractions or propositions, but in relation to the people.
The man - unlike God, people are limited: they have a beginning and death, have limitedPower and knowledge, and certainly are not always loving and holy. Certainly, the history of humanity, some stories of heroism and noble thoughts and actions, but documents the sad history of failed opportunities and wasted potential for perverse ends.
The original pair of humans formed a relationship to God, the objects of his mercy, and love, and his reflections image. Unfortunately, damage their position with the Lord. In the nameIndependence, are slaves of sin, he needs redemption. The progress of the child has reached the climax, when he says Genesis 6:00, "every inclination of man's heart is only evil all the time."
Sin - The Hebrew Bible reveals the nature of sin in the first place in narrative form - in other words, the story of what happened to real people. People were in a state created without sin, even as they are already born into the world pure and innocent. Sinfulness is abnormalThe man, from the approximation of what God wants to be and do.
As we bear the image of God, sin, which is contrary to the nature of God himself. Because God is truth, lies are sin. Because God is holy, contamination of sin. Because God is love, hate is a sin. Because God is unity, is the division of sin, and so on. This is best done in Leviticus 19:01 where God says, he expressed: "You must be holy, for I am holy." All through Moses announced that moral rules are always bound tothe statement: "I am the Lord."
Do what is right and the blessing of God brings with it experience, is what the Old Testament with the knowledge that God is the Lord (see instructions in Ezekiel and elsewhere, over and over again).

Again and again he reveals his great patience and mercy toward sinners. Unfortunately, someonly passages in which he shows anger focused against the sinner, a counterpoint melody to be sure, but one that always plays as part of Federal-love and fidelity.

Of course, also warns of the curses that bring upon themselves when they break the covenant. Basic Law are the Ten Commandments, which was outside the foundations of life in harmony with God
Atonement - under the same covenant with Israel, if God is a means to obtain forgiveness through a system of animal sacrifice. Tenders have been theThe believers had the elimination of crime and supplication to God for a renewal of the close relation of sin impossible.
