Egypt, the stars and spirituality - something together?

Remember the words Star and think the sky. Mention the word Egypt, and noted that, on the northern tip of Africa. Then there's spirituality, is so great, can include everything. So, I would almost rather say.

They could have something in common, if you live in India or Taiwan, but if you think of Egypt or to visit this country, you will notice how close they are. Egypt is a country that religion has been constructed and a combination of stone. Youdo nothing without their spirituality and religious ideas that support the rich and protected. They built temples and tombs and used religion as a cornerstone. They reflect their ideas of life and after their gods in paintings and sculptures. The combinations can be seen all along the Nile, without exception. In fact, many places because of this construction. Examples are found and Akhenaten in the history of a place called Tell PharaohEl Amarna.

Then there is the third element, which plays an important role to complete the triangle. The night sky over the desert, made a lasting impression on the Egyptians. One can only think of the star called the Star of the Nile. We know that stars like Sirius and even though they know nothing of stars, you can easily see how it is the brightest star in the sky.
(Not for the planet Venus or Jupiter to see how they are brighter)

But what I want isliving for Egyptians, as well as Greecs, Romans, and probably the Indians, Mayans, Aztecs and Incas in the spirits of heaven. Come to think we all believe. So, if spirituality, stars, models and their positions must be followed, an order that the Egyptians were the first. And of course they did. Without going into details, there are more than enough evidence that the tombs, temples and villages where the reflections were built, what up.They really do things in this way or that you see too what? We are in awe when we are in engineering skills of these people and see that they certainly know that we love and want to find it.

The three subjects have much in common for all of us because we are nothing but Star Stuff. But in Egypt, this combination is palpable.

It took me awhile to get an English version, having first unconsciously ordered it in Portugeuse. Now having "read" it and "studied" it some, I find it necessary to return to it again, as this is one of those books that can be read and reflected upon many many times as we come out of the darkness that, I think, many of us have been living in for oh so long. I can see this little book, if read with intent, contributing to some upheaval in the life of the reader. Not that there is a dark side to this book...one would do well to remember that Mr. Coehlo is, among other things, an adept magician; and, in my opinion, the process of coming into one's own is likely to be, especially when aided by the "magic"(energy) of this book, accelerated. God is real?

In a recent Newsweek (09/04/2007), a declared atheist and best-selling book by Sam Harris squares with Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church off in Orange County, California, and author of the bestseller worldwide Life Purpose- Driven with a piece titled "Religion: God is real?"

I found it to be interesting to read, so far it went, but completely lacks a crucial point. While Harris certainty that it does not "God of the Bible:" I do not agree with his conclusion that there isGod at all. I believe that God / Goddess consciousness itself, and this awareness permeates the entire universe and beyond, with non-dual, unconditional love. The most spectacular, this knowledge is infinite gift of life. For me, the fundamental belief that spirituality is everything.

TrueFreedom comes from this personal relationship with God and know that there needs to be saved, who are good people, in fact, a born and that God will take care of you, whether you are a certain religion's rules. Spirituality there lead to the realization that a whole, complete, and magnificent in every way possible, and that you are unique and special with your great mission in life. My goal in life to live not live up to expectations of others inTo be a good person, but to live up to the expectations of your car for your mind (or soul) and are determined in form, the type of person who should be.

You can know God for themselves. Will take you to the realization that in fact "God" - to be a part of God and you are included in a part of this divine power, which lead from the essence of life. Listen to others and feel it to discover their vision of God, but then go in andTo find God for themselves. This is where all the power. This is where freedom and lie if you need a religion of God to help you, your understanding, then practice! Remember to keep open and not just what you said, focus on God, but what you feel inside to be true.

The story focuses on Kari Baxter, the second eldest daughter in a family of five but also touches on the rest of the family that you learn more about through out the series. Kari has been married to Tim awhile before the story begins and their marriage is definitely in trouble. While Kari struggles with martial problems, Ryan, her high school sweet heart moves back into town. Kari and Tim learn that true love is not just a feeling but deeper commitment and struggle with their individual relationships with Jesus Christ.
My only criticisms are the same for many of Karen's books. Sometimes she makes things too neat when real life is messy, though this book's ending is possible it just isn't likely. And then there's her fascination with high school sweet hearts.
