Sometimes in our search for truth, we mistakenly believe we do require certain rituals or traditions, honor and show respect for the divine. This error is due to our mistake somehow still seeing the divine as something of ourselves, and often as a unit of sorts. We think we can appease, bribe, or remove, or this divine essence and presumably to do with these rituals and traditions, and, if not the Deity would somehow disappointedor perhaps even anger.
